Waiting for Dinner (Studio)

On my second visit to Nepal, I had the chance to travel to Katakuti, a small village in the Dolakha district. My friend and I were warmly hosted by a family, who offered us their beds and cooked a delicious meal of rice with organic vegetables. While we waited for dinner, I made a quick sketch of her. This painting is a studio work based on that sketch.
